Bob has been a member of
the club for several years. Bob is a wood turner and
offers to the club the perspective of turning wood on a lathe.
Bob brings much of his turned work to club meetings to show us
what can be done with turning chisels.

Above are
some pens and pencils and bottle stoppers that Bob turned.
Bob uses a variety of woods. On the pens, the barrels
are turned over brass tubes and were done in March of 1999.

The corks are turned, carved and wood burned. The corks are carved out of:

Bob has turned many of the feet and handles for the
friendship canes we donate to the Mennonite Relief sale every
year. |
