Sculptures in Wood

Woodcarving Show and Sale

 

Join us for the 2008 eighth annual "Sculptures in Wood"  woodcarving show and sale May 17th and 18th at the Challenger Learning Center in Bloomington, IL. 

The hours of the show will be 9 AM to 5 PM, Saturday, and noon to 5 PM Sunday.  Admission at the door will be two dollars for adults and school age children admitted free.  The admission charge is good for the day.

The Challenger Learning Center is located at 2901 East Empire in Bloomington, IL.  Empire in this location is also known as route 9 east.  The Challenger Learning Center is located approximately one and one half miles east of Veteran's Parkway on the south side of the road.  Look for an illuminated sign.  The Challenger Learning Center is housed at the former site of the Bloomington/Normal Regional Airport.

The Challenger Learning Center at Prairie Aviation Museum, located in Bloomington, Illinois, continues a mission of engaging students in science, math and technology and fostering in them an interest to pursue careers in those fields.
